Pitch Analysis

A few ideas jumped out at us, in terms of the location such as filming near the london eye, and this feeback was extemely important to us it helped us realise that we had a solid idea, however it could be developed, especially the ending.

Our main idea was to show the end of their relationship due to cultural/social differences, however as we further developed our idea, we realised that we wouldn't be able to fully go through with this idea, however we still kept some elements of this cultural difference between the two especially through the clothing.

Due to our response, we thought that Southbank would be a excellent place to film, especially at night time, due to the night life, and the iconic landmarks seen, especially the London Eye and Tower Bridge. We thought it would be interesting to film here also because of the lights at night time, which gave us natural lighting instead of having to bring a light rig.

Brick Lane was a interesting place to film we thought due to its iconic graffiti street, and we believed especially with duo art, it could be used to represent our two protagonists. We also believed that it could give us more aesthetically pleasing visually, making the audience wanting to watch more to see what may come next.

Our main reason for choosing the national gallery to film, was because we wanted to use it as a representation of the Upper Class life, that our male protagonist lives. It used to show the contrast between our female protagonist's middle class area, in which she takes him to Brick Lane. We wanted to make it very clear, the two different social cultures they are from and the dichotomy between them.

Granary Square was an idea I came up with as I loved the lights and how the waters moved, We used this as the waters had hints of pink in them, as shown in the picture below, and pink is a colour which is prevelant with out artist BreBreRunway and we wanted to carry this on.
